The Inaugural Lecture was held in November 2001. Like many of the City Livery Companies, the Worshipful Company of Educators provides an annual showcase lecture for members and guests from education and the wider community, given by a prestigious speaker. The Lecture is named after Professor Raoul Franklin, the first Master and Vice-Chancellor of City University for 20 years.
